My parents started hosting YFC Bible Studies when I was in middle school and opened my eyes to the risks facing so many of our young people today. As a volunteer and a staff person for the COYFC City Life and Teen Moms programs and I got to witness those risks become reality in the lives of the kids we interacted with. Now, as a widowed mother of three, I'm even more invested in doing what I can to create a safer environment for my children to grow up in.
